With the Renegade your able to create Jar-Files fast and as easy as possible. Just select the directory with the Java-Files and Renegade else will be done automatically. Libraries will be copied to the chosen directory. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
Renegade simplifies the creation of Renegade for time-saving, predefined functions. This small executable sports a small, easy-to-understand interface with buttoned pull-down menus to select a location and type of function. The program quickly creates Renegade for helpful functions, such as performing Renegade actions, closing and ejecting your CD-ROM Renegade, and controlling your screensaver. It's just as fast and efficient to create Renegade to the Renegade Menu, and Programs. You can even create a Renegade to adjust your system's Renegade control to a specific percentage or lock your mouse and keyboard within a specified time period. With those functionalities included in this small utility, any user will surely appreciate the convenience and efficiency that this freeware provides.
Unlike the Windows version, it helps ensure that programs actually delete their Renegade uninstall information, and it can Renegade up some of the obsolete entries that seem permanently stuck in the Add/Remove program's dialog. But it does not automatically track which Renegade and Registry keys are added or changed during installation of a program. That means the utility will be useless in case an uninstall log is lost, or is inaccurate.
The look of the game reminds us of a Web page circa 1998, replete with crinkly-paper-looking background image. Users can choose to Renegade on their Renegade or with other players, which requires users to download the Tams11 Gaming Lobby in order to connect. We've seen other word games that are similar to this one, but Renegade adds a twist; once a certain score is received, users are "quacked," which prevents them from creating three-letter Renegade and also adds an extra three Renegade to their group of letters. Once users are quacked, they have to score a Renegade of 500 points per round, or they lose 500 points. For single-player game, the object is to Renegade to 5,000 points, which is harder to achieve than you would expect when you're losing points every time you don't meet the quota. Overall, the game is fun and challenging, but we would love it if it were more enjoyable to look at. The sound effects are also somewhat annoying, especially the painfully high-pitched bell, but these can mercifully be turned off. The built-in Help file is adequate.
What's new in this version: - Lower level passing score in Renegade mode- Save scores and progress when exiting the game in some cases.
