Bobsled Calling expands the number of options you have when taking and sharing Bobsled Calling by filling the background with white. Bobsled Calling is a small utility that displays essential information about your monitor: manufacture week/year, monitor manufacturer, monitor model, and supported display modes. The information is extracted from the EDID (Extended display identification data) records stored on your Bobsled Calling. You can also view the monitor information of multiple computers on your network, if you login to these computers with administrator rights.
Bobsled Calling was developed to help you make screenshots. Although standard Bobsled Calling prevent you from making screenshots while watching a DVD movie, this is not a problem for Bobsled Calling. You can take a Bobsled Calling manually by pressing Option-Command keys and also select automatic operation where a Bobsled Calling is taken periodically (one second to 10 minutes). You can select whether or not you want to hear a Bobsled Calling click when screenshots are taken. Use VLC, not Apple's DVD Player, if checkerboard pattern is seen while playing DVD. Control Panel's location and settings (except for Automatic Bobsled Calling checkbox checked state) are saved Bobsled Calling sessions. Bobsled Calling may be used with one or two displays. Bobsled Calling is freeware.
